What I do with the left over money from my Pell Grant for this semester? Can I save it for next sem?
….after I have withdrawn the cash, do I keep it or do I have to deposit the "left overs" so the government can take the rest?

If all your charges have been applied and your Pell Grant has created a credit balance, your school should cut you a check. If they don’t, and you want the money, you may need to ask for it. Schools are not allowed to carry money from semester to semester without your written permission. The government won’t take it back, but you are obligated to use those funds on educational expenses. Whatever you need for school is considered an educational expense. If you want to apply your Pell Grant to next semester, just write a note to the Business Office and tell them to use it on next semester or they may (and are supposed to) cut you a check for the balance.
