I have found that if you advertise on Google, they can suggest keywords. Yahoo might do the same, but I am not sure. Monitor how many different keywords get how many hits, and eliminate the ones that aren’t working for you.

Try searching within Google Hot Trends for the keywords or phrases you would use to find your services if you were in the market for them. Or you can also use Wordtracker Gtrends which will tell you if a key phrase is worth using or not. I’ve been having great success with the latter.
Hope that helps.

Search engine positioning is designed to attract customers to your website who search information about a specific subject. Some of the components which make up the ranking algorithm include the placement of the phrase on the page, the number of times the phrase is used, the number of links to other relevant pages and how important or popular the linked pages are. At the beginning, it’s important to prepare a marketing campaign which will meet your special needs and objectives. If your business use ad placement, the marketing campaign can help you to determine where you could place them to reach the target audience for your product.
